To help draw more attention to art song is one of my core interests in my work. In a music video with images, not regularly seen in connection with classical music, and visuals transporting an interpretation corresponding independently with the composition by Franz Schubert, I am trying to open this art form to new audiences.
Together with a brilliant team around artistic director Marina Mattner, and Eric Schneider as musical partner, we created a video, which adds yet another dimension to the beautiful "Du bist die Ruh" (You are repose) by Franz Schubert and Friedrich Rückert, without overpowering the fragile composition.
